The new triangle scarves by Le Châle Bleu are jacquard-knit in pure extra-fine merino wool: soft, durable, and never itchy. The house's most beloved designs have been translated stitch by stitch into a two-color knitted pattern. The magpies of The Treasure Hunters and the flower-covered Panther travel from silk to wool without losing a word of their story.
The jacquard makes them reversible: turn the scarf over, and light becomes dark, dark becomes light. One scarf, two moods.
Neither too big nor too small, they were designed to be tied every which way. Wrapped twice and knotted in front, they tuck under your coat collar on the coldest days. Wrapped once, they're easygoing. Draped over your shoulders like a little shawl, they stand in for a cardigan in a chilly room. Tied over your head, under the chin or at the nape, they give you the air of a 1950s screen diva.
They are knitted by a small family business in Serbia, the same one that makes the house's long scarves, from RWS-certified wool: mulesing-free and produced with respect for animal welfare.
