Paris cobblestones, dry here, wet there, just after a rain shower: that's the whole palette of this merino wool triangle scarf. Pearl gray on charcoal, or the other way around, since all it takes is a flip. Understated, yet with enough contrast for the magpie design to unfold in full, wings open around their precious stones. A scarf made for the city, rain or shine. Just big enough to be tied a thousand ways, it carries an original design, translated stitch by stitch.

A Note from the Designer

The Treasure Hunters was my very first design for Le Châle Bleu. I adore magpies: to me, they are the most beautiful birds there are, so graphic, and endlessly graceful in flight.
To me, it was obvious: magpies mean shiny things, so I surrounded them with precious stones. To everyone else, not so much. So I wrote a little story about a Magpie invited to tea in a very chic neighborhood… who just couldn't resist. Every tale of the house was born from that one.
Since then, the Treasure Hunters have become the emblem of the house: every year, they return in a new color. As for what happened at teatime, that's the story told in the booklet tucked into the blue box.

The new scarves by Le Châle Bleu are knitted in pure extra-fine merino wool jacquard. Made from this wool, known for its softness and durability, they are delightfully soft, non-itchy and have a heavy, comfortable fall. The two-tone jacquard knitting makes them magically double-sided: the darker part of the pattern suddenly becomes lighter, and vice versa. To complete their beauty and luxurious craftsmanship, these scarves are knitted by a small family business in Serbia, from RWS-certified wool - meaning no mulesing and with respect for animal welfare.

Care

When necessary, wash you scarf gently in a warm water, with a liquid detergent designed for wool, do not soak. Do not tumble dry. Reshape your scarf before laying it flat to dry. If need be, steam-iron or press it lightly through a damp cloth.
