As always at Le Châle Bleu, the design of this scarf tells a story. The story of a beautiful Panther who, tired of the constant attention of visitors to the garden where she lives, asks her artist friend to paint her with flowers. Since then, adorned in this blossoming disguise, she strolls peacefully on the elegant midnight-blue background of this luxurious silk carré, among opulent peonies and golden magnolias.
As usual, the pattern of this square is designed to play: the Panther can be revealed or hidden simply by turning the scarf around.

The Inspiration

The story of the Panther who dreams of becoming invisible was inspired by an encounter between the brand's creator and a majestic black cat. The latter, trying - in vain - to hide from the admiring glances of visitors in a small blooming garden in Nice, inspired this drawing and this tale.

Luxurious peonies, blossoming magnolias, graceful arabesques of bluebells and delicate volutes of echinacea: the English garden pattern owes its roots to Art Nouveau and the Arts and Crafts movement. The Panther's body art reflects this garden in a sleek style, almost like a tattoo with Japanese accents.
Like all Le Châle Bleu pieces, the design of this scarf was created entirely by hand.

Like all Le Châle Bleu's creations, this scarf is imagined and drawn by hand in France and crafted in Italy, in the Como region. It is printed on a high quality silk twill, with rolled hem.

Dry your scarf flat and iron it while it is still slightly damp. Please iron your scarf with the “silk” settings.
