After a long period of research through the history of zodiacal representations, it was the splendor of medieval astronomical clocks - like the majestic one at San Marco in Venice - that captured my heart. This singular representation, where the signs glitter in gold against a contrasting background like treasures suspended in the night, was the one I wanted to bring back to life on silk.
Creating the original drawing - nearly a meter by a meter - took more than four weeks. Four weeks of making the constellations dance, refining each curve, each star, so that the magic would happen.
Like all Le Châle Bleu's creations, this scarf is imagined and drawn by hand in France and crafted in Italy, in the Como region. It is printed on a high quality silk twill, with rolled hem.

We suggest you to handle your scarf with delicacy and keep it carefully folded. This accessory requires a high quality dry cleaning, or a very delicate hand wash: please do not leave it soaking wet and avoid rubbing, but gently stir it in soapy water. Dry your scarf flat and iron it while it is still slightly damp. Please iron your scarf with the “silk” settings.
