They are fascinating creatures, always in flight, never landing. The drawing blends the spirit of Arts & Crafts with a touch of Art Deco, in the clean lines of the umbrella pine and the ferns. As always at Le Châle Bleu, this design was created entirely by hand: more than four weeks of work, on a sheet of paper almost a meter (over three feet) across.
My own Swift chose to stay on the Riviera all year round — but that's the story told in the booklet tucked into the blue box.
Like all Le Châle Bleu's creations, this scarf is imagined and drawn by hand in France and crafted in Italy, in the Como region. It is printed on a high quality silk twill, with rolled hem.

We suggest you to handle your scarf with delicacy and keep it carefully folded. This accessory requires a high quality dry cleaning, or a very delicate hand wash: please do not leave it soaking wet and avoid rubbing, but gently stir it in soapy water. Dry your scarf flat and iron it while it is still slightly damp. Please iron your scarf with the “silk” settings.
